Mike
grew up in Jefferson County and moved to the City of St. Louis in 1994. He presently
lives in the Tower Grove South neighborhood, where he serves as chairman of
the 15th Ward Regular Democratic Committee.
He is a lawyer in private practice, specializing in some first amendment issues, personal injury and worker's compensation cases. He has enjoyed that role since finishing a clerkship for the St. Louis Circuit Court in 1993.
Mike received his undergraduate degree from Truman State, before attending law school at St. Louis University. Since 1998, he has served as an Adjunct Professor of Criminology at the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
In Jefferson City, Mike will fight for the progressive issues we care about. He pledges to work to provide quality health care and educational opportunities for all, enhance the economic development of the City of St. Louis, and protect and ensure the equality of every Missourian - regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation.
